CLiC has been asked by the AIRS committee to take over the management of these two databases. Only those libraries currently subscribing to these products will be able to continue subscriptions through this cooperative purchase. All current subscribers have been notified of the renewal for 2007 - 2008.

Contemporary Authors: Students and users will find biographical information on more than 120,000 modern novelists, poets, playwrights, nonfiction writers, journalists and scriptwriters in the award-winning Contemporary Authors® series.

Contemporary Literary Criticism: This database features excerpted criticism taken from books, magazines, literary reviews, newspapers and scholarly journals. Approximately 90-95% of critical essays are full text on authors who are currently writing or died after 1959.
