COLORADO COURIER COMMITTEE

Charge:

The Colorado Courier Committee is an advisory committee assisting CLiC's Executive Director with oversight of the contract, policy, pricing, and new program implementation.

Duties:

Make policy recommendations to the Board of the Colorado Library Consortium.
Prepare and release RFP's as needed to offer courier service.
Advise the Executive Director on courier contracts issues and pricing structure for billing participants.
Evaluate use of courier service.
Help promote the courier and report back problem for participating libraries.
Advise on cooperative activities with other states as appropriate.
Assist with grant applications as necessary to support the service.
Committee members will serve a three-year term, with reappointment possible.

Committee Membership:

The Colorado Library Consortium's Executive Director will appoint the members of the committee.
The Colorado Library Consortium Executive Director shall serve as a member of the committee.
A member of the Colorado State Library staff shall serve as a member of the committee.
Five to seven additional librarians who are courier participants will serve on the committee. These members will come from various types of libraries and regions of the state.
