FOLIO Meet-up Colorado 2019

Imagine a community working together to develop technologies that meet the unique functional needs of each library today, while positioning libraries to grow and evolve into the future. In this one-day symposium, discuss the FOLIO project, a community collaboration to develop an open source platform that will support traditional library management functionality and is built for innovation. Join fellow librarians from Colorado as we explore the future of library technology.

Wi-Fi Woes?

Maybe your wifi is unreliable, or on the slow side. Or maybe you’re tired of “gathering” wifi usage statistics in your library by roving around with a clipboard, counting people on their devices.

Our solution is simple, affordable and elegant.

“Our wifi network is awesome – this is obviously a very slow time of the year in La Veta, but there are still cars parked outside every evening when we leave the library.  Right now, with the bakery & the coffee shop closed for owner vacations, people without wifi have literally no other place to get online…

“Anyway – we love our new access points – our patrons are spoiled & don’t even know it, but we do!  Thank you again for this great solution!” – La Veta Public Library

Installed in 9 locations as of June 2023:

  • Penrose Public Library
  • John C Fremont Library (Florence)
  • La Veta Public Library
  • Carnegie Public Library (Trinidad)
  • Spanish Peaks Library District (Walsenburg)
  • Flagler Community Library
  • Northern Saguache County Library District (Saguache & Crestone)
  • John Rawlings Heritage Center (Las Animas)
  • CLiC (yes – we use this system, also!)
